He began his sales career as a Mortgage Banker with Quicken Loans, Inc in May 2012. He originated and closed over $70M in mortgages across 18 states; quickly being promoted to Senior Mortgage Banker. In late fall of 2014, Mike transitioned from mortgage banking to join the sales organization of a late stage mobile technology startup, Phunware Inc. During his 3 years at Phunware, Mike closed over $40M in revenue and finished his time at Phunware as Director of Audience Building. Mike was responsible for all new business and revenue efforts for the Audience Building division and successfully closed new business with companies including Starbucks, Apple Music, Twitter, HBO, Match.com, Lyft, and CBS among others.
Mike’s work ethic was established as a teenager by spending the hot Arizona summers pushing a mower and throwing the rock for his dad’s landscaping business. A foundation that has now come full circle as Co-Founder and CEO of Points West Environmental. Mike is an avid outdoorsman and a sponsor member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Away from work you will find him outside; hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, and more. He is a big Arizona Wildcat fan and any time the Cats are on, you can bet he’s watching.
